FULL-TIME

STUDIO ASSISTANT

We're seeking a full-time Studio Assistant to join our creative team in our energetic studio. Working alongside our Customer Service, Order Coordinator and Studio Team to assist with creating bespoke customer orders using a range of machines and techniques including printing presses and laser cutters.

Role:

  • Preparing product components
  • Creating Products Using Laser Cutters and Printing Presses
  • Assisting with creating our ‘made-to-order’ products
  • Assisting with quality control
  • Processing, packing and gift wrapping orders daily
  • Proofing customer personalisation requests
  • Gift wrapping
  • Assisting with the studio organisation
  • Tidying and maintaining the cleanliness of the studio
  • Assisting with stock management
  • Assisting with general admin duties

Skills Required:

  • Exemplary organisational, self motivational and time management skills
  • Confidence and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Great communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Excellent work ethic, enthusiasm and willingness to take on new skills
  • Impeccable Attention to detail and Pride in Work

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
  • English GCSE and Maths GCSE A-C grade
  • IT literate
  • Experience using Laser Cutters, Vinyl Plotters and Printing Presses useful, although not essential

Additional Information:

Applicants must to be available to work 8.30am to 16.30pm Monday to Friday from our studio in Danbury, Essex (Additional Hours in the run up to Christmas, including weekends, may be required)

Immediate start date.

Rate of Pay:

£7.50+ depending on experience

DIGITAL MARKETER

We're seeking an experienced digital marketer to join our team on a full-time or a flexible, part-time basis. Working alongside our Customer Service, Order Coordinator and Studio Team you'll be responsible for showcasing our award-winning product range on our global range of selling platforms and increasing our brand exposure in print and online publications.

Clouds and Currents Ltd is a product design company, formed in 2012 with big aspirations. We sell through our own website - cloudsandcurrents.com - and several leading, creative marketplaces across the world. Since our formation, we've grown to become an award-winning, market-leader in personalised gifting.

This role offers:

A list of duties include:

o Working closely with Creative Director to create and execute a digital strategy

o Content creation for product and website listings.

o Applying SEO principles to this content

o Using technical SEO and website development knowledge to improve the user experience, increasing organic search engine visibility and generating good quality traffic to the site

o Employing content marketing techniques and strategy to attract targeted traffic to the website and encourage social sharing, back linking and brand promotion

o Working to implement and manage PPC and SEO campaigns.

o Implementing enhancements to optimise landing pages and identify areas for improvement for SEO and PPC

o Optimising social media and digital marketing campaigns and website conversion

o Inputting and manage the digital marketing plan and maintaining updates to this.

o Monitoring Social media channels and report as part of KPIs’s

o Day to day management of social media accounts

o Delivering regular reporting on all digital campaigns

o Devising Email Marketing strategy using existing Mailchimp Lists

o Supporting delivery of digital campaigns to assist in operational marketing requirements

o Creating and Managing affiliate marketing programme

o Working closely to ensure all digital campaigns meet brand guidelines and are in line with the marketing strategy

o Investigating opportunities and provide ideas and improvements to existing online campaigns, communications and the overall digital strategy

The successful candidate will have:

o Digital Marketing experience

o Proven experience of running digital campaigns across multiple platforms

o Proven and demonstrable experience with both interactive and B2C websites

o Solid understanding of SEO, PPC and Affiliate marketing

o Enthusiasm, positive approach, energy and passion for marketing and results focused

o An impressive knowledge and experience of email marketing (including Mailchimp) and using social media

o Experience of coordinating activities across multiple disciplines

o Experience of analysing data

o Managing and prioritising a diverse and high volumes of work to meet deadlines

o Competency in using Google Analytics

o Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of marketing activity

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting at all levels

o Excellent copywriting and proofing experience

o Demonstrate a creative flair

We’ll be offering a salary of £10/hr based on a 37.5 hour week but we can be flexible with working hours for the right person. In addition to salary, Clouds and Currents operates an incentivised, target-based bonus system which the successful applicant will be enrolled into, upon completion of a probation period.
